About Prepwise

Prepwise wasn't built by a faceless company. It was built by a candidate who sat one of these assessments - and needed something that actually worked.

Why I built it

I'm Nicola, the founder. I built Prepwise while preparing for the NATO Young Professionals Programme (YPP), because nothing out there faithfully recreated the actual game mechanics. The lookalike "practice" sites felt nothing like the real thing - wrong timing, wrong rules, no feedback. So I built the real mechanics for myself first.

I then used Prepwise to prepare for my own assessment. These were my scores:

What that experience taught me

The gap between my best and worst scores came down to one thing: practice volume per skill. The game I drilled most, I aced. The one I neglected, I didn't. That's the entire philosophy behind Prepwise's focus drills - they find your single weakest sub-skill, train only that, and re-test to prove the improvement.

How Prepwise is run

Prepwise is independent and self-funded. It's not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HireVue - the name is used only to describe the kind of assessment you're preparing for. Payments are handled securely by Stripe and data by Supabase (EU); the app is ad-free and we don't sell personal data. Our only revenue is the subscription.
